MONTSERRAT (1968)

During the early part of 1968, Richard played the part of a townsperson called Salas Ina in a RADA production of Montserrat at the Vanbrugh Theatre. It was an adaptation by Lillian Hellman of a French play by Emmanuel Robles which was set during the Spanish occupation of Valencia, Venezuela, in 1812. This particular production of it opened on the 14th of March and finished in July of the same year.
