THREE FOR ALL (1974)

In 1974 Richard played the part of Jet Bone in a comedy film called Three For All.
    The film centers around three girls whose boyfriends are in a rock band called "Billy Beethoven" who get new management, a record deal, a tour of the Costa Del Sol and a ban on taking girlfriends with them for fear of bad publicity. The girls rebel and decide to surprise the lads in Spain, but when they get there they find it very hard to get in touch with the band and very easy to get into all sorts of trouble.
    Richard plays the part of the band's road manager, a nice but naive lad who gets caught in a constant battle between the management company and the girlfriends. The role doesn't stretch him very much and the film centers around the girlfriends rather than the tour that the band are on, so he doesn't get many lines in the film either.
    The film was released on VHS in Great Britain by Missing In Action a few years back, but has since been deleted. Copies of the film do sometimes appear on ebay. A soundtrack LP was also released on vinyl.
